"I had a hard time finding the vehicle that I
liked in my home state of Colorado. I also had Colorado dealerships
offer embarrassing low money for my trade in. I found exactly what I
wanted online at Ken Garff. I proposed a deal with my trade in, and it
was confirmed within 5 minutes. I made the 8.5 hour drive from Colorado
Springs, and my experience was nothing less than pleasant. I would make
the trip again in a heartbeat if I needed another vehicle. The vehicle
that I bought was exactly what was portrayed online. My salesman Ron
Walker was professional, easy going, and I really appreciated his laid
back demeanor." - 8/2/2011
On the road, the 2007 Chrysler 300 feels as solid as it
looks, having inherited significant mechanicals from Chrysler's parent company,
Mercedes-Benz. From a handling standpoint, the 300 is heavily and positively
influenced by a design borrowed from the Mercedes E-Class: five-link rear
suspension mounted to a sub frame, and the short-arm/long-arm front suspension,
modified for the 300's longer wheelbase, wider track and bigger wheels.
2008 Chrysler 300
The 2008 Chrysler 300 delivers bold styling. It's smooth
and quiet, with a great ride and tight handling. Getting in and out is easy, and
it's roomy inside. Models are available for all tastes and budgets. Its traction
and stability electronics work well, but buyers who want to be prepared for bad
weather should opt for all-wheel drive. The base 300 is a lot of car for the
money, with a proven V6 that has adequate power for many drivers. We prefer the
Touring and Limited models, with their more powerful V6 and higher levels of
features.
2009 Chrysler 300
The 300 for 2009 can seat five, and trunk volume totals 15.6 cubic feet.
Available options include a premium sound package from Boston
Acoustics, a rear-seat entertainment system with a flip-up screen, and
an iPod interface with the UConnect hands-free phone system. The Limited
package includes automatic headlamps and dual-zone automatic climate
control. In the long-wheelbase edition, rear legroom measures 46 inches.
Options that can be added in the rear of the long-wheelbase version
include writing tables, footrests, illuminated vanity mirrors,
adjustable reading lights and 12-volt power plugs for charging mobile
electronic devices.
2010 Chrysler 300
The 2010 Chrysler 300 has a few engine choices available. 300C trim level, in
particular, is an impressive vehicle thanks to its powerful 5.7-liter V8
engine. It's bracketed by two affordable V6-equipped models on one end
and the high-performance 300C SRT8 on the other. Some of the 300's
underlying mechanicals are derived from Mercedes-Benz technology, and
it's a platform sibling to the Dodge Charger. For power, the base 300
relies on a weak 178-horsepower 2.7-liter V6 connected to a four-speed
automatic transmission.
